Getting Involved
There are several ways to get involved in Live Art Falmouth, from showing work and volunteering at the event, to debating topics surrounding live art and performance based practice in general and more specifically topics concerning the Live/performance Art climate in Cornwall.
For showing work, the deadline for submissions for LAF08 has now past for the 2008 event, however please feel free to take a look at the submission details for future events to come. Select ‘Submissions’ above for full details of what is required, where and who to send your proposal to and who to contact if you have any queries.
For volunteering for the event we are very interested in hearing from anyone that would like to join our friendly team to get involved in the set up and running of the event with opportunities to assist artists with the installation and/or preparation for their work, to invigilate spaces,to screen work in the projection room, to man the bar, and much more. Please select ‘Volunteering’ above to find out information on how to get involved and how to contact us.
Our myspace forum has been set-up to enable dialogue and debate surrounding Live Art practice and specifically to discuss its presence within the arts in Cornwall. We would like to invite you to use this space as a platform to speak about your experience/s of Live Art and performance based practice and what it means to you. Any comments and suggestions you may have about this art form are welcome. We would also love to hear your views on Live Art Falmouth...whether you came last year, seen the website, are planning to go to the next event or just have an opinion you would like to throw into the mix.
